There is wide variation in the physical properties in copper and copper alloys. This is due to the changes in grain structure due to the many processing options available. Even the order of processing can have dramatic effects on the properties of the finished part. Therefore, it is imperitive to know and understand the processing a copper alloy is subjected to during the forming process.
